Local Development Framework (LDF) for Drumchapel Consultation

Glasgow City Council has published a consultative draft Local Development Framework (LDF) for Drumchapel.  Link to the document  https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/Drumchapel_LDF/

The purpose of the Drumchapel LDF is to provide a long-term vision for the development of the area and to coordinate development activity over the short, medium and long term. Over the long term, some aspirations of the LDF could extend as far as 25-30 years into the future.

Types of development addressed include public spaces, housing, shops, facilities, transport infrastructure, and open spaces like parks and play areas. The LDF also contains an initial action programme to be delivered over different timescales.

Glasgow City Council want to get people’s views on the current draft and encourage local residents, workers, organisations or anyone else with a connection to the area to take part in this consultation by submitting their comments. Responses can be made by completing the online survey  https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=27662 or by emailing comments to LDFConsultation@glasgow,gov.uk
