Glasgow City Council received consent from Scottish Ministers on 19th May 2022, to make and operate a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) within Glasgow City Centre.
The Glasgow LEZ will come into operation on the 31st May 2022. This will begin the relevant grace periods with enforcement of the LEZ for general traffic coming into effect on 1st June 2023 and 1st June 2024 for vehicles registered to a residential property within the LEZ area.
