Dut to current Covid19 restrictions Cope are not able to provide a face to face service at Garscadden, but can offer support by phone and you don’t need to worry about the cost as Cope will phone you if you get in touch.
The COPE service will be by phone until at least Sept 2020.
COPE do not underestimate the mental distress that may lie ahead as people worry about employment, impact of lockdown, impact on relationships, anxiety about the future and more, they will do what they can to help be part of the solution as this is something more people will come through when we work together to support that.
COPE are keen to emphasis the listening and phone element of what they are offering. Lifelink, the Anchor, Healing for the Heart and others are offering counselling which is also so needed at this time, however, sometimes someone just needs someone to listen and offer some tools which may help, so this is complimentary to what others are doing as none of us alone can do it all, but together………..we can build a kinder world.
