Joyce Orr - Director

Joyce joined Pineview as Director in April 2014.  As Director, Joyce’s role involves working with the Committee of Management and the staff team to ensure that Pineview is a well-run housing association meeting all its business, legislative and regulatory requirements, and continually striving to provide good quality customer service to its tenants.  Joyce is responsible for ensuring that the Committee of Management has the necessary information and skills they require to ensure informed decision-making.  In 2017 Joyce took on the additional responsibility of being Company Secretary for the Association.  Joyce has been involved in the housing sector since 1992 and has had various student, volunteer and employee roles since then.  

Joyce is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

In her own time, Joyce currently serves as a volunteer Board Member with Cadder Housing Association, having been co-opteed in late 2023 to enhance the Board's governance skills, experience and knowledge.  Joyce is currently the Chair of the Governance Sub Group.

Joyce has also served as a volunteer Board Director with the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) from April 2017 to October 2023.  In the past Joyce has been the Chair and/or Secretary for various sector staff forums operated by SFHA.
