Pineview Housing Association is a community based housing association in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow. We provide housing / management services for 533 social rented properties, a 4 bed supported accommodation property and 52 sharing owners / owner occupiers.
We are looking to recruit a highly customer focussed Maintenance Officer who will play a key role in delivering the Association’s repairs and maintenance service to our customers. Duties include, but are not restricted to: instructing, managing and monitoring reactive repair work, planned and cyclical maintenance; contract management; health and safety compliance ; pre and post inspections; supervising our 2 estate caretakers; managing contractors; void inspections; estate inspections; checking and authorising maintenance invoices; maintaining effective audit trails; tenant participation and customer satisfaction
The successful candidate will ideally have relevant technical experience / background (not necessarily in a housing environment); be able to operate effectively within a strong performance culture to deliver excellent performance results; be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal / communication and record keeping skills, good computer literacy (ideally in Microsoft packages) and must have well developed accuracy and analytical skills to enable the delivery of high quality services for our customers.
This post may also be suitable for a graduate trainee wishing to pursue a career in housing.
